The Rosebud Klowns were organized during Lady Ruth Hutson's year as High Priestess April 1985-March 1986. The Unit was named in her honor, as her Klown name is "Rosebud". For many years the Rosebud Klowns have participated in screening clinics, did fundraising at Laguna Seca races, participated in performances in the East/West Pagentry

For many years the Rosebud Klowns have participated in screening clinics, did fundraising at Laguna Seca races, participated in performances in the East/West Pagentry at Stanford, at Grand Council and WAOUM sessions, and many other local activities involving children. They have won awards at parades and in 1994 donated a Hippopotamus Examining Medical table to the Northern California Shrine Hospital along with many other items over the years.

This Unit has given presentations to Blue Lodges and Masonic events. Through this Unit we have developed closer relations with with Asiya Shrine.
We volunteer to help at Shining Star
The Ambassador Unit was formed by Lady Kitty LaFavor, PHP, in 2018 for the purpose of getting the word out about the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.
This Unit has given presentations to Blue Lodges and Masonic events. Through this Unit we have developed closer relations with with Asiya Shrine.
We volunteer to help at Shining Star Respite events including helping the Asiya So Bay Camelherders at the Childrens' Christmas Party. Ambassadors participate in parades along with the Shriners including the July 4th, Pioneer Days Parade in Paso Robles, Veterans Day, and the Los Gatos Children's Parades.
Unit volunteers have had a team which participates in the annual Walk for Love for the No. CA Shrine Hospital, the Sacramento Egg Estranza, Ice Cream socials for patients and families at the No CA Shrine Hospital, and participate in telethons.
Our Theme song is "We Put Children First", a special adaption of the Shriners song written by Dr. Tim and Linnea Marrin.
Our Mascot, "Lotus Flower" the Bear participates in many events.
The Ambassadors Unit are a very active group and are always looking for new and exciting ways to help at the No CA Shriners Hospital, support Asiya Shriners, and other Masonic and Community organizations.
The Past High Priestess (PHP) Club was formed in 1984. They provide direction and continuing support to the Court. Many PHP's are Aides to Officers and are Mentors to new Members. They also provided support to the Shriners Hospital of No CA with items for the children.
The Sewing Committee serves as a special committee of the Court to function as a group to make items that are donated to the Shrine Hospital(s) or other places that may be designated for the Ladies to share their efforts. The Sewing Committee serves as a special committee of the Court to function as a group to make items that are donated to the Shrine Hospital(s) or other places that may be designated for the Ladies to share their efforts. The Sewing Committee receives a budget for fabric and supplies for planned donated items. The Sewing Committee may also be asked to handle a Fundraising Event for the court, such, as a vendor table at Grand Council, Western Area Unit Meet, and for a local craft sale or boutique. The Sewing Chairperson might also be asked to be the Event Chairperson and shall report to the Associate Princess information on the events.

Who can become a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America?
To become a member, a lady must:
Be related to by birth, marriage or adoption to a member in good standing (or a deceased member who was in good standing at the time of death) to a Noble of Shriners International. Or be related to a Master Mason by birth, marriage, or adoption.
Or be sponsored by two members in good standing of the Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America
She must be at least 18 years of age.
She must be a resident in the area of the Court in which membership is desired.
Any Court, however, may received and act of the petition of an individual who lives in a city, territorywhere no Court of the Order exists.
A lady must complete a Petition for Membership.
The petition must be accompanied by the initiation fee required by the Court to which she is petitioning.
The Petition is presented at a meeting of the Court.
The High Priestess of the Court appoints an Interview Committee to meet with the lady to determine the lady's interest, provide her with information about the organization, and answer any questions she may have.
Interview Committee reports back at next meeting of the Court.
Petitioners who are found favorable are balloted upon by the membership of the Court and notified a such.
Petitioner is invited to become a member of the court, and informed of date of ceremony of initiation.
